OCC Construction was trusted to deliver the 102-unit Clai Mor Development by Tuath Housing & Galway City Council to deliver an ultra-energy efficient, Sustainable, high quality social housing scheme on an infill brownfield site that would enhance the local areas and provide recreational and childcare facilities for the wider community on the east side of the city.

Construction of a new R&D Technology facility consisting of a large industrial unit with ancillary two storey office area. Site works consisted of the provision of a service yard with dedicated plant compound, rainwater harvesting tank, new substation, external landscaping and all associated site works, services and signage.

Penn Engineering, Innovation Centre of Excellence
Penn Engineering is a global Innovation Centre of Excellence for the American Multinational PEM group. The €14m project is a cutting-edge technology and training centre, complete with advanced testing laboratories and a state-of-the-art customer experience, it serves as a European headquarters and expands PennEngineering’s footprint in Europe but also enable a deeper integration of research, development, and customer engagement under one roof.

This exciting MMC (Modern Methods of Construction) project, largely constructed off-site using LGS (Light Gauge Steel) through Lean Construction technologies, will provide a brand-new, state-of-the-art office and resource building for the GRCC, an important asset for the Galway community.

Shoreline Apartments
This project consisted of the demolition of an outdated apartment building and construction of a new 5 storey luxury apartment block comprising 18 no apartments overlooking Galway Bay situated along the spectacular Galway Prom. The apartments feature balcony views over the bay, inner courtyard and private parking. associated site works, services and signage.

Construction of a new 500 sq m state of the art educational facility and all associated site works. Construction of steel superstructure, cavity wall construction with architectural paneling, complex multi angular roof structure with pvc finishes. Full fit out internally.

Galway
Work on the Creig Árd development was completed in three separate phases and resulted in the the construction of 20 no three and four bedroom A rated houses in Phases 1 & 2 and a further 17 apartment in phase 3. The project was completed in one year and included all associated site work, and handed over in turn key condition.
