Placements at OCC

OCC currently have a range of vacancies for construction students seeking placement opportunities and we give students tremendous learning opportunities under the guidance and mentoring from our highly experienced team.

Our company has ISO accreditation across three disciplines, 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems and 45001: 2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems and you will receive training on working within these systems.

Responsibilities of  roles include;

  • Establish and maintain procedures with design team, client and subcontractors for information flow, approvals, meetings and reporting.
  • Reporting to management team on the programme schedule and ensuring compliance with plans, specifications and building standards.
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, quantity surveyors and other project stakeholders.
  • Conduct document reviews, scheduling and attending site meetings to ensure overall compliance with building schedule.
  • Providing support to management.
  • Ensuring compliance with agreed construction methods particularly those relating to Quality Assurance and Health & Safety.
  • Prepares and submits reports and other paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Engaging with your mentor, developing your skills and having a one to one meeting at a weekly review.
  • Positively liaising with your mentor on your continuous professional development.
