Project Description:
OCC Construction successfully delivered the Penn Engineering Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Galway, a high-spec industrial development designed to support precision engineering and advanced manufacturing operations.
The project comprised a modern production facility incorporating specialist structural steel, high-bay manufacturing areas, office accommodation and integrated building services, delivered to exacting quality and performance standards. A strong focus was placed on buildability, programme certainty and coordination with specialist suppliers to meet Penn Engineering’s operational requirements.
The project was delivered using OCC’s digitally driven construction approach, incorporating BIM coordination, structured quality management systems and rigorous inspection and testing procedures. Close collaboration with the client, design team and specialist subcontractors ensured a high-quality, future-ready facility that supports long-term manufacturing growth.
