Founded by Peter O’Connell, OCC Construction is a leading Irish main contractor built on a foundation of experience, Innovation and strong relationships. We deliver high-quality commercial, residential and Medtech projects, adopting a solution-driven approach that ensures safety, buildability and programme certainty.

Our projects are delivered in line with our vision — Building Ireland’s future through trusted, innovative and sustainable construction. We utilise Lean Construction principles, Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), BIM-led design coordination and digitally enabled project management to improve efficiency, quality and long-term value.

Our culture is shaped by three values — Authentic, Adaptable and Accountable. They define how we work with our people, clients, partners and supply chain, and are brought to life through six clear business priorities: People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Sustainability and Innovation. Together, these provide a consistent focus for how we operate, make decisions and continuously improve across every project.

Our Community

At OCC, we take pride in our strong ethos of giving back. We have built and maintained strong, meaningful relationships with local and national charities, as well as the communities we serve. We believe it is both a privilege and a responsibility to support those in need, reflecting our gratitude for the opportunities we’ve been given.

In 2024 alone, OCC Construction donated €28,000 to numerous charities and sponsored various sporting organizations, including all charities nominated by our employees.

Since OCC’s incorporation in 2010, approximately €241,000 has been donated to charitable causes. Each year, we invite our employees to share the charities that matter most to them, providing an opportunity to nominate a cause of their choice to share in a generous fund donated by OCC Construction.
