OCC Construction has been appointed by Mayo County Council to deliver a new residential development comprising 80 high-quality homes at Killala Road in Ballina.
This scheme will provide much-needed housing for the local community, delivering a well-designed and sustainable development that supports the continued growth of Ballina and the wider region. The project has been carefully developed to create a high-quality living environment, with a strong focus on durability, energy performance, and long-term value for residents.
The development is being delivered in collaboration with an experienced design team, including Van Dijk Architects Ireland, Duffy Chartered Engineers, Semple & McKillop Consulting Engineers, and McGahon Surveyors, ensuring a coordinated and integrated approach from design through to construction.
OCC Construction will deliver the project through a structured, safety-led approach, incorporating Lean Construction principles, Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), and BIM-led coordination. This approach will ensure efficient delivery, high-quality outcomes, and programme certainty, while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability and stakeholder collaboration.
