Project Description:

OCC Construction is pleased to have commenced works on the Shannon Airport Terminal Retrofit Project, delivered in collaboration with Shannon Airport Group within a live operational airport environment.

This project involves the phased refurbishment and upgrading of existing terminal facilities to enhance passenger experience, improve operational efficiency and modernise key areas of the airport infrastructure. Working within a fully operational international airport requires detailed planning, controlled logistics, and close coordination with airport stakeholders to ensure zero disruption to daily operations.

The works will be carefully sequenced to maintain continuous passenger flow and comply with strict aviation security, safety and access requirements. OCC’s structured programme management, Lean Construction approach and rigorous health & safety systems will underpin delivery.

Through proactive stakeholder engagement, digital project controls and disciplined quality management, OCC will ensure that the retrofit works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with Shannon Airport Group’s strategic objectives.
