Sod Turning at Greally Park, Athlone with Minister for housing Darragh O’Brien.

OCC were delighted to welcome Darragh O’Brien, Minister for Housing & Local Government along with members of Westmeath County Council to the official sod turning ceremony in Athlone today. This innovative new development will consist of 24 residential units which are highly energy efficient and constructed to NZEB standards using the latest Air-to-Water heating technology and fitted with photo voltaic panels providing which will harvest energy from the sun to help meet the electrical demands of the home.
