Project Description:
Works included the renovation of an existing County Council building with substantial demolitions. The building had been in use as Mayo County council offices for the previous 20 years and the building was completely upgraded to meet part M and the fabric of the building was upgraded to meet part L. This project required a full fit out to Dept. of Education Specification and fireproofing to existing building material. This protected structure required specialist works to ensure the protection of all historical finishes in line with Architects Conservation report. Automatic doors and disabled access were also added. Externally there were substantial ground works and the addition of a rubberised playground. Works were completed over a period of 4 months.
