Ballina Residential Development – Project Comencement

OCC Construction is delighted to announce the commencement of works on a new residential development at Killala Road in Ballina, where we have been appointed by Mayo County Council to deliver 80 high-quality homes.

This important housing project will provide much-needed residential accommodation for the local community, supporting the continued growth and development of the region. The scheme reflects a strong commitment to delivering sustainable, well-designed housing that meets modern standards while enhancing the surrounding environment.

OCC Construction will work in close collaboration with the wider design team, including Van Dijk Architects Ireland as Architect, Duffy Chartered Engineers as Civil and Structural Engineers, Semple & McKillop Consulting Engineers as Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, and McGahon Surveyors as Quantity Surveyor.

A strong partnership approach will underpin the successful delivery of the project, ensuring efficient coordination, high-quality outcomes, and programme certainty throughout all stages of construction. OCC Construction will apply its proven delivery model, integrating Lean Construction principles, Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), and BIM-led coordination to maximise value and minimise waste.

We are proud to support Mayo County Council in delivering critical housing infrastructure and look forward to progressing works on site, with further updates to follow as the development advances.
